Brad, Everyone was thoroughly pleased with yesterday’s events, even Leo who “has no use” for boats or the water and Auntie Jo who was very apprehensive about getting on a boat were very happy with how everything went. Thank you for your attention to detail, patience with the elderly, and your efforts to make what is a painful event as smooth and stress free as possible. My Family and I just want to thank you for everything you did which helped make my mother's ash scattering so memorable. The day was perfect, seas were calm, the boat - gorgeous, and the service impeccable. Thanks for accommodating our rather quirky "stick-throwing" as part of the ceremony. So for us to be able to literally take our mum home, and to return her to the place that she so loved...wasn't just a celebration of her life. It was an act of healing for our own. My mum had been sick for some time and I had cared for her at home, by myself. It had been a difficult time, and I was struck by the sense of release that I felt, and feel still. We especially appreciated your easy accommodation of our family's special needs. My nephew is still talking about having taken the wheel; it did wonders for his ego at a time when he sorely it.
